GRR Review: Fierce Love by Danielle Stewart

Fierce Love by Danielle Stewart shares the same universe as the series by Ruth Cardello (turns out they are sisters, who'd knew!) but the female protagonist, Libby, makes no sense, making it difficult to give a higher rating to this romance.

Libby Saint-Jane wanted to bring down West Oil for ruining her family, and she had infiltrated West Oil by becoming an employee. The problem with this is she's secretly in love with James West, the current head of West Oil, who's instituting various reforms fixing the problems caused by his father.  James West also has "don't get involved with employees" policy... but Libby may be the exception to the rule. Then Libby's psycho ex tried to ruin her...
The character of Libby seems to be self-conflicting. She apparently was dedicated for revenge, even though there's nothing to take revenge against (old West had retired, and James was trying to undo a lot of the damages). She's also too much of a pleaser to let her psycho ex to push her around... Then suddenly near the end Libby apparently either had a personality flip or a personality transplant as she suddenly came up with a plan to frame her psycho ex to destroy his career so she can achieve HEA with James. Not buying this at all.
