GRR Review Love and Mistletoe (Ballybeg, Book 4) (T by Zara Keane

Love and Mistletoe, the love story between policeman Brian and daughter-of-crook Sharon is a sweet romance that never really felt as if it had much of a threat to it.
Brian Glen is a policeman chasing a promotion, and taking criminology class is definitely a part of that. But what is the young daughter of Ballybeg's most notorious family doing in his forensic psychology class? Sharon has no intention of falling with the family business, and she needs her degree to leave it all behind. Sharon also has a crush on Brian. When they are paired for the semester project, can Sharon teach Brian there's more to her than her family's rap sheet?

Nothing really kept them apart, neither circumstances nor emotional wounds. it could almost be termed a "cozy" romance. While the meet-cute incident in the book was definitely cute it wasn't even their first meeting. The rest of the book somehow lacks the amount of humor and heat. There really is no "darkest hour" moment or grand gesture (unless you count the part where "Da" comes out of nowhere and Brian offers Sharon to move in with him as both) If so, the final incident around Christmas evening was just extra fluff, and there's an epilogue after that.
