Tyrell, Lord Wesmont, pines after Fiona Hawthorn, even as he believed he was too damaged to love due to his battlefield experience. Fiona, on the other hand, was a wild spirit who lost her mother young, and had pursued boyish hobbies such as horseriding (proper riding, none of that sissy side saddle business) and swimming in the lake (!) and loved Tyrell's company. But Fiona is far more famous for disasters that happened around her that she was dubbed Lady Fiasco by the lampooners of London. Then Fiona's aunt, the infamous Lady Alameda (who speaks her mind, and dresses in a most unladylike manner!) came to take Fiona away as her new protege!Add in a lecherous cousin, evil stepmother, nasty stepsisters, and the Prince Regent, and you'll have a roaring good time reading this book.
Lady Fiasco is a delightful Regency romance that managed to combined slapstick with a ton of steamy kisses
